FAQ

Personalized Online Speech Therapy for Children with Autism

Find clear answers to the questions families most often ask about our online speech and language services.

What types of therapy do you offer at Reciprocity Speech?

We provide early intervention parent coaching services in English and
Spanish. Research supports the parent coaching model as a successful
means of improving children’s communication skills. At Reciprocity, we
know that parents are the true experts of their children, and can
therefore become their child’s most effective teacher.

Is therapy available for children outside California and Oregon?

Speech language pathologists are required to hold licensure in the
residing states of both parties (clinician and client). If you are
interested in working with Reciprocity and live in another state,
please reach out to us so that we can investigate the licensure
process in your home state!

Do families participate in the therapy process?

Yes! We coach parents and caregivers, giving practical strategies to
support daily communication and strengthen what children learn during
sessions.

How are online sessions conducted?

Sessions are conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms, using interactive and personalized materials tailored to each child’s unique needs.
